It’s already way cool Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin is in your psychology class…
The gymnast turned celebrity turned SMU student has had a whirl wind of a life since she won the all around gymnastics title in Beijing last summer. From appearances on Oprah and Gossip Girl, to gracing the pages of People and Us Weekly – the girl is definitely soaking up the spotlight. At New York Fashion Week, Nastia sat front row at big shows like Peter Som and Isaac Mizrahi. While getting her fashion fix at Max Azria’s show Nastia was spotted and landed a contract for the line’s 2009 spring/ summer ad campaign. Nastia clearly has an affinity for fashion, as she is also in the works to collaborate on a denim line and leotards (very fitting).
